KI Conference in Koblenz, Germany 2013

September 18, 2013

It was with great interest that think-cell saw the announcement of the 36th Annual Conference on Artificial Intelligence, hosted by the University of Koblenz-Landau.

The KI 2013 took place within the context of the INFORMATIK 2013, the 43rd Annual Conference of the German Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI)).

From September 16-20, 2013, five co-located partner conferences covering a broad spectrum within the field of computer science brought together scientists and practitioners from Germany and abroad. Leading representatives from science, politics and industry presented recent results from research and development. Workshops, tutorials, scientific and practical sessions, as well as several social events and business meetings took place over the course of five days.

It is well known that lecture halls can be stuffy and that the best scientific discussions are heated. think-cell had a simple solution to this problem: After the keynote on "AI-Research and the Future of the Automobile" held by Professor Raúl Rojas, the participants of the KI 2013 were greeted by think-cell's ice cream stand. Enjoying their organic chocolate ice cream and vegan mango sorbet, our guests were challenged and entertained by the brainteaser that they found on their ice-cream cups. It was our great pleasure to draw the winning submission. Congratulations to the lucky winner of the Nexus 7!
